South China Aluminum: Trading Picks Up Slightly

Spot aluminum traded prices in South China were RMB 14,600-14,620/mt on Wednesday, a premium of more than RMB 250/mt over Shanghai.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 17 (SMM) – Spot aluminum traded prices in South China were RMB 14,600-14,620/mt on Wednesday, a premium of more than RMB 250/mt over Shanghai. Trading was active at RMB 14,610/mt, but buying interest diminished once prices rose to RMB 14,620/mt. In the afternoon, spot aluminum prices followed SHFE aluminum down to RMB 14,600/mt. Overall trading picked up a little from yesterday.
