Manganese Ore Market:
Some market players confirmed to SMM that manganese ore prices will continue to fall. Some traders have liquidated all the goods at hand to avoid further declines in prices. Those who still have inventories are actively moving goods.

Transactions:
In southern ports, trading of Malaysian manganese ore was modest, but traded prices slid further. In northern ports, sales volumes of South African manganese ore, though outperforming others, remained less than satisfying.

Manganese Alloy Market: 
A few silicomanganese alloy producers have managed to secure orders from steel producers, while others say demand is anemic. Prices are now nearing production costs. Operating rates did not increase significantly even after power tariff in Guangxi was cut.
