Jul 12, 2013 16:03Chinese shares closed lower on Friday as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 1.62 percent, or 33.51 points, to end at 2,039.49.
Updated: 2013-07-12 (Xinhua) - Chinese shares closed lower on Friday as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 1.62 percent, or 33.51 points, to end at 2,039.49.
The Shenzhen Component Index slid 2.10 percent, or 171.93 points, to 8,012.84.
