SHANGHAI, Jul. 5 (SMM) – SMM undertook a survey of major domestic EMM producing regions including Hunan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Chongqing, Hubei and Ningxia and other three producing regions including Yunnan, Sichuan and Shaanxi (capacities covering 90% of the national total). China's EMM output in June totaled 94,000 mt. SMM anticipates China's EMM output in July will fall to 82,000 mt.
 
By region: EMM output in Guangxi was 18,000 mt in July, and EMM output in Guizhou was 17,300 mt. EMM output in Hunan was 17,200 mt, and output in Chongqing was 17,500 mt in June, with 5,200 mt in Hubei, 15,000 mt in Ningxia, and 3,800 mt in Yunan, Sichuan and Shaanxi.
 
The SMM survey shows Hunan, Guangxi, Chongqing and Guizhou cut or suspended production due to losses. SMM anticipates China's EMM output in July should fall to 82,000 mt, with the largest declines in Hunan, down from 17,200 mt in June, to 11,000 mt. EMM output in Chongqing will fall from 17,500 mt, to 15,300 mt; output in Guizhou and Guangxi will not drop noticeably. Output in Guizhou will drop from 17,300 mt in June, to 16,000 mt; output in Guangxi will drop from 18,000 mt in June, to 17,000 mt; output in Hubei will drop from 5,200 mt in June, to 3,500 mt; output in other regions will remain unchanged.
