South China Aluminum Price: Sellers and Buyers Stay Out of Market, Prices Hold Flat

SHFE 1310 aluminum contract inched up on Thursday, but still met resistance at RMB 14,300/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 27 (SMM) – SHFE 1310 aluminum contract inched up on Thursday, but still met resistance at RMB 14,300/mt. Suppliers and buyers in south China largely stayed out of the market as mid-year liquidity crunch is biting in. Traded prices were flat with yesterday at RMB 14,610-14,630/mt. Trading is expected to remain muted tomorrow.
