Aluminum Plate, Sheet, Strip and Foil Producers Still Suffer Liquidity Crunch

SHANGHAI, Jun. 22 (SMM) – SMM survey found that domestic aluminum plate, sheet, strip and foil producers, especially SMEs, are plagued by tight liquidity. Producers with stronger financial strength are now offering great discounts so as to ensure smooth cash flows. SMEs, however, are forced to extend payment or increase the proportion of payment by acceptance to attract customers since they have less capital than large ones do. Tight cash flow will be the biggest problem confronting aluminum processors for the remainder of the year.
