China Refined Copper Output Up 18% YoY to 567,000 Mt in May

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced that China produced 567,000 mt of refined copper in May, up 18% YoY.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 20 (SMM) – The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced that China produced 567,000 mt of refined copper in May, up 18% YoY. YTD output through May also rose 14.5% YoY to 2.67 million mt.

In May, China also produced 1,222,000 mt of copper products, 3,290,000 mt of aluminum products, 3,720,000 mt of alumina, 394,000 mt of lead and 443,000 mt of zinc. (Edited by SMM)
