China's Inflation Grows 2.1 pct in May

China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, grew 2.1 percent year on year in May.
BEIJING, June 9 -- China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, grew 2.1 percent year on year in May, down from 2.4 percent in April, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Sunday.
