SHANGHAI, Jun. 3 (SMM) - Nyrstar's Q4 quarterly earnings report shows that its 125,000 mt/yr Clarksville smelter, located in Tennessee, US, suspended for two weeks in Q1 2013, with 5,000 mt of output affected. Zinc output from the smelter during January through March was 22,000 mt, down 9,000 mt from the previous quarter. That is because Clarksville smelter only processed raw materials from central Tennessee to leach germanium in Q1 2013. Besides, zinc output from the 270,000 mt/yr Hobart (Risdon) smelter, located in Tasmania, Australia also fell by 7% MoM due to equipment problems.
