China’s Anhydrous Aluminum Fluoride Exports Up 5.23% YoY in February

According to China Customs, China exported 15,916 mt of anhydrous aluminum fluoride during February, up 5.23% YoY, but export prices dropped 21.02% YoY to USD 1,237/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 16 (SMM) – According to China Customs, China exported 15,916 mt of anhydrous aluminum fluoride during February, up 5.23% YoY, but export prices dropped 21.02% YoY to USD 1,237/mt. 

YTD exports through February rose 23.01% YoY to 26,572 mt, but average export price declined 20.37% YoY to USD 1,248/mt. Chinese aluminum fluoride producers ramped up exports even export prices fell as competition in China’s domestic market is intensifying and as payment collection is quicker via exports.  

The mainstream traded price of fluoride salt in April was RMB 7,400-7,600/mt, with the low-end price up RMB 100/mt. Although some producers raised ex-works prices, mainstream traded prices remained around RMB 7,450/mt.
