South China Aluminum Price: Trading Light on Oversupply Pressure (2013-4-10)

SHFE 1306 aluminum contract immediately fell back after hitting a high of RMB 14,700/mt on Wednesday.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 10 (SMM) – SHFE 1306 aluminum contract immediately fell back after hitting a high of RMB 14,700/mt on Wednesday. Cargo holders were anxious to sell at highs, but purchases by downstream producers and middlemen were stable, leaving mainstream trade prices stagnant at RMB 14,650/mt. Overall transactions were limited.
