South China Aluminum: Prices Dipped, Wait-and-See Sentiment Grew

SHFE 1306 aluminum contract was capped under the daily moving average on Thursday, with the low-end price at RMB 14,600/mt, causing spot aluminum in south China to struggle near RMB 14,500/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 28 (SMM) – SHFE 1306 aluminum contract was capped under the daily moving average on Thursday, with the low-end price at RMB 14,600/mt, causing spot aluminum in south China to struggle near RMB 14,500/mt. Some traders remained eager to sell for cash, but downstream consumption was sluggish. Both sides chose to stand on the sidelines.
