Discounts of #0 zinc against SHFE 1306 zinc contract prices narrowed to RMB 170-190/mt, with traded prices around RMB 14,790-14,810/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 26 (SMM) – SHFE 1306 zinc contract prices fell after opening lower on Tuesday. Discounts of #0 zinc against SHFE 1306 zinc contract prices narrowed to RMB 170-190/mt, with traded prices around RMB 14,790-14,810/mt. #1 zinc prices were RMB 14,760-14,790/mt. Smelters were still reluctant to move goods and traders also held prices firm. Downstream enterprises showed no intention to increase purchases, leaving trading muted.
