SHFE #1 Lead Price Movement (2013-3-22)

SHFE lead prices opened nearly RMB 100/mt on Friday, while spot lead prices in China were relatively resilient.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 22 (SMM) – SHFE lead prices opened nearly RMB 100/mt on Friday, while spot lead prices in China were relatively resilient. Prices for Chihong Zn & Ge were offered at RMB 14,470/mt, with spot discounts of RMB 60/mt against the most active SHFE lead contract price. Quotations for Nanfang were at RMB 14,450/mt. Yuguang was quoted at RMB 14,430/mt, with spot discount of RMB 10/mt against the SHFE 1304 lead contract price. Trading remained unimproved with both sellers and buyers on the sidelines.
