Raw Material Inventories at Copper Plate, Sheet, Strip and Foil Producers Up 10.22% in February

Raw material inventories during February at the surveyed producers were 42.75% of production, up 10.22% MoM.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 19 (SMM) - Raw material inventories during February at the surveyed producers were 42.75% of production, up 10.22% MoM. The significant MoM increase in stocks was due largely to lower consumption. In addition, post-holiday copper prices were down noticeably, enticing some producers to purchase additional raw materials at low prices.
