SHFE 1306 aluminum contract prices marched down after a low opening on Thursday, promoting traders in south China to actively move goods for cash.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 14 (SMM) – SHFE 1306 aluminum contract prices marched down after a low opening on Thursday, promoting traders in south China to actively move goods for cash. However, downstream producers purchased only as needed, sending spot aluminum prices down slightly to RMB 14,540-14,560/mt. Markets are worried that aluminum prices will come under great downward pressure after the State Reserve Bureau buys aluminum ingot.
