Tin Concentrate Imports Surged to Record High in January

SHANGHAI, Mar. 1 (SMM) – China’s tin concentrate imports were surged 467.3% MoM to a record high of 17,661 mt in January, up 1277.6% YoY due to tight supply and high prices for domestic concentrate. Menglian Zhongyu Mining, Menglian Foreign Trade, and Menglian Yahua Trade imported the most tin concentrate during January, with the volume imported by the three companies accounting for 87.6% of total imports.
