SHANGHAI, Feb. 28 (SMM) – SHFE 1305 aluminum contract prices trended down on Thursday after opening unchanged from yesterday, hurting market confidence. Few downstream producers entered the market against liquidity crunch on the last day of the month, while price declines also made traders less willing to sell, leaving traded prices stagnant at RMB 14,520-14,530/mt. Markers are awaiting consumption to improve in March.
