China Imports and Exports of Copper and Aluminum in January 2013

SHANGHAI,Feb. 8 -- According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 350,958 mt during January,down 15.2 % YoY. China's imports of scrap copper were 380 kt during January,
up 65.9% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were69,024 mt in January,
down 26.2 % YoY. Alumina imports were 490 kt during January,up 9.3% YoY. China's imports of scrap aluminum were 210 kt during January,up 55.7% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 50,431 mt in January,down 15.6% YoY.
