SHANGHAI, Jan. 24 (SMM) – SHFE three-month zinc contract prices remained fluctuating. Discounts of #0 zinc against SHFE three-month zinc contract prices were RMB 270-290/mt, with traded prices between RMB 15,200-15,210/mt. #1 zinc prices were RMB 15,140-15,150/mt. Traders reduced purchases leading up to the Chinese New Year holiday, while downstream demand was also softer, with transactions extremely quiet.
