SHFE three-month zinc contract prices inched down after opening.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 23 (SMM) – SHFE three-month zinc contract prices inched down after opening. Discounts of #0 zinc against SHFE three-month zinc contract prices expanded to RMB 270-290/mt, with traded prices between RMB 15,190-15,210/mt. #1 zinc prices were around RMB 15,140/mt. Traders were very cautious in the morning trading as SHFE zinc prices fluctuated, while downstream buying interest was low, keeping transactions quiet.
