In China’s manganese ore market, inquiries were moderate, and transactions were made in small amount.
SHANGHAI, Jan. 22 (SMM) – In China’s manganese ore market, inquiries were moderate, and transactions were made in small amount. Based on result of SMM survey, most secondary traders had no supply, while first-hand traders were reluctant to move goods at existing prices. Most market players believe that manganese ore prices will rise further after Chinese New Year holiday. SMM believes that manganese ore will not maintain upward momentum when arrivals of manganese ore increase after Chinese New Year holiday.
Supply of goods is still tight in south and north market, which will lend support for manganese ore prices in the short term.
