China's FDI Inflow Drops in December

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into China fell 4.5 percent in December from a year earlier, and the pace of drop slowed from 5.4 percent in November.

BEIJING, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Foreign direct investment (FDI) into China fell 4.5 percent in December from a year earlier, and the pace of drop slowed from 5.4 percent in November, the Ministry of Commerce said Wednesday.

The country's FDI inflow has been declining since June.

The FDI into China in 2012 declined 3.7 percent from a year earlier, the ministry said.
