South China Aluminum: Prices Stagnant, Trading Muted

SHFE 1303 aluminum contract prices stalled at RMB 15,250-15,260/mt on Wednesday.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 9 (SMM) – SHFE 1303 aluminum contract prices stalled at RMB 15,250-15,260/mt on Wednesday. South China spot aluminum market saw stable supply and demand, with mainstream traded prices at RMB 15,110-15,130/mt. Traders were reluctant to sell at lows, while downstream producers refused to buy at highs, leaving trading muted.
