China Stocks Close Slightly Higher Wednesday

Chinese shares closed slightly higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.39 percent.

BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares closed slightly higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.39 percent, or 8.02 points, to end at 2,082.73.

The Shenzhen Component Index finished at 8,246.06, up 0.31 percent, or 25.52 points.
