The SHFE 1301 aluminum contract was mired and plunged after 2 p.m., souring market sentiment again and sending traded prices in south China market down to RMB 15,190-15,210/mt.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 20 (SMM) – The SHFE 1301 aluminum contract was mired and plunged after 2 p.m., souring market sentiment again and sending traded prices in south China market down to RMB 15,190-15,210/mt. Cargo holders were in a hurry to move goods, while downstream producers showed little buying interest, leaving overall trading light.
