SMM Weekly Review on Brass Imports (Nov. 12-16)

Profits on imported brass saw no major changes, so domestic importers still did not intend to prepare for stocks.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 20 (SMM) –Turning to the brass market, CIF quotations for US brass, Western held around USD 5,000-5,050/mt last week. CIF quotations for Bulgarian brass were still about USD 4,700/mt, and approximately USD 4,580/mt for German and Spanish brass. Mainstream offers for US brass, Western, though, continued dipping slightly to RMB 38,100-38,500/mt on China’s domestic markets. Profits on imported brass saw no major changes, so domestic importers still did not intend to prepare for stocks.
