ICSG: Refined Copper Market 23,000 Tons in Deficit in July

The world refined copper market was in deficit by 23,000 metric tons in July, the International Copper Study Group said Tuesday.

LONDON, Oct 23, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- The world refined copper market was in deficit by 23,000 metric tons in July, the International Copper Study Group said Tuesday.

For the first seven months of the year, the ICSG said it estimates a production deficit of 524,000 tons. This compares with a deficit of 73,000 tons in the same period of 2011.
