China's September PPI Slumps 3.6 Pct

China's producer price index, which measures inflation at the wholesale level, dropped 3.6 percent year on year in September, compared with a 3.5 percent decline in August.

BEIJING, Oct. 15 -- China's producer price index, which measures inflation at the wholesale level, dropped 3.6 percent year on year in September, compared with a 3.5 percent decline in August, the National Bureau of Statistics said Monday.
