South China Aluminum: Spot Trading Thin on Bearishness

The most active SHFE aluminum contract met resistance at RMB 15,600/mt after a low opening on Wednesday, fuelling strong bearish sentiment in spot aluminum market.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 10 (SMM) – The most active SHFE aluminum contract met resistance at RMB 15,600/mt after a low opening on Wednesday, fuelling strong bearish sentiment in spot aluminum market. Mainstream traded prices stagnated at RMB 15,370/mt in south China. Downstream processors purchased as needed due to limited orders, while supply was ample, leaving trading quiet.
