China's FDI Inflow Drops 6.9 Pct in June

The foreign direct investment (FDI) China attracted in June stood at 12 billion U.S. dollars, down 6.9 percent from a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Tuesday.

BEIJING, July 17 (Xinhua) -- The foreign direct investment (FDI) China attracted in June stood at 12 billion U.S. dollars, down 6.9 percent from a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Tuesday.

The figure added the country's first-half FDI inflow to 59.1 billion U.S. dollars, down 3 percent year on year, MOC spokesman Shen Danyang said at a press conference.
