Big Four Banks' June Loans Decreased

The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, the Bank of China and the China Construction Bank lent 188 billion yuan ($29.59 billion) in June.

Jul. 3 - The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, the Bank of China and the China Construction Bank lent 188 billion yuan ($29.59 billion) in June, lower than 250 billion yuan in May, Xinhuanet.com reported Tuesday.

The total new loans in June may amount to 700 billion yuan as new loans from Big Four banks account for 30 to 40 percent of all new loans.
