China's stocks extended losses of the previous day to end lower on Wednesday, as investors, shortly cheered by the weekend's Greek election, resumed cautious sentiment.

BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- China's stocks extended losses of the previous day to end lower on Wednesday, as investors, shortly cheered by the weekend's Greek election, resumed cautious sentiment.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,292.88, down 7.92 points, or 0.34 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 9,821.79, down 26.37 points, or 0.27 percent.
