Update: Notice on Changes of SMM Laterite Nickel Ore Prices

Update: mainstream water contents have been changed to 30-33%, as colored below.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 28 (SMM) -- To more objectively reflect laterite nickel ore trading, SMM has decided on following changes in SMM nickel ore prices:

1. Quotations of nickel ore with grades of 1.6-1.7% and 1.7-1.8% have been added;

2. Sampling ports and water contents have been added in quotations. SMM selects major ports as sampling ports and sets mainstream water contents of 30-33%.

3. The price unit has been changed to RMB per wet metric ton from RMB per metric ton.

Above changes will come into effect June 28th.
