Jun 18, 2012 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- The global refined zinc market was in surplus by 121,000 metric tons in the first four months of 2012, the International Lead and Zinc Study Group said Monday.
The gap was smaller than the 191,000-ton surplus in same period of 2011.
In January to April, total production reached 4.240 million tons of refined zinc, while consumption was recorded at 4.119 million tons, it said.
