DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingBEIJING, May 21, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- China's April refined copper imports fell 21% on month, although they were up 70.3% from a year ago, to 272,903 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Monday.
Imports in the first four months rose 75.9% on year to 1.3 million tons, customs said.
China's copper concentrate imports in April rose 2.2% on year to 474,903 tons, customs said.
In the first four months, copper concentrate imports rose 18.8% to 2.2 million tons.
China is the world's largest copper consumer.
