Production Costs at Some EMM Producers in Huayuan County to Increase by RMB 250/mt
Apr 24, 2012 13:44Electricity prices at some electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) producers in Huayuan County, Hunan Province are raised by RMB 0.035/kwh following negotiations, nearly down half of 0.0727/kwh.
SHANGHAI, Apr. 24 (SMM) – According to SMM sources, electricity prices at some electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) producers in Huayuan County, Hunan Province are raised by RMB 0.035/kwh following negotiations, nearly down half of 0.0727/kwh. Production costs at these producers therefore will increase by RMB 250/mt, squeezing profit margins. Electricity use in Huayuan County is comparatively complicated. Other EMM producers using Guizhou Power Grid Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Electric Power Co., Ltd. enjoy unchanged electricity prices. Therefore, producers using local electricity are only affected.
