BEIJING, Feb 21, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- China's January refined copper imports rose 36.6% from a year ago to 335,480 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Tuesday.
Refined copper imports fell 17.6% from December.
Copper concentrate imports in January rose 7.5% to 601,751 tons, customs said.
China is the world's largest copper consumer.
