Kazakhstan Upped Zinc, Aluminum, Lead, Copper Exports in 2011

Kazakhstan's copper exports increased by 22.1% to 339,900 tons. The copper exported in 2011 was worth $2.875 billion, 52.7% more than in 2010.

MOSCOW, Feb 15, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- Kazakhstan exported in 2011 356,500 metric tons of zinc, 29.7% more than in 2010, the state statistics agency reported Wednesday.

The exported zinc was worth $767.3 million, 33.3% more than in 2010.

Aluminum exports in 2011 increased by 7.4% on the year to 215,600 tons. The exported aluminum was worth $523.9 billion, 30.7% more than in 2010.

Lead exports increased by 64.7% to 150,300 tons. The exported lead was worth $356.1 million, 86.9% more than in 2010.

Copper exports increased by 22.1% to 339,900 tons. The copper exported in 2011 was worth $2.875 billion, 52.7% more than in 2010.
