LONDON, Jan 26, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- Total world aluminum inventories in December rose by 6,000 metric tons to 2.409 million tons, according to figures released Thursday by the International Aluminum Institute.
World stocks in November stood at 2.403 million tons.
December stocks were down 110,000 tons compared to the same month of 2010, when inventories were recorded at 2.519 million tons, the IAI said.
