MOSCOW, Jan 26, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- Tajikistan produced 280,000 metric tons of primary aluminum in 2011, a fall of 20% compared with 2010, the economic development ministry said Wednesday.
Tajikistan exports all the aluminum it produces.
The reason for the fall in output is disruption in electricity and coke supplies, the ministry said.
In 2011 the export of aluminum accounted for 52.9% of Tajikistan's total exports.
