The number of US non-farm employment increased by 200,000, higher than the expected 150,000, and unemployment data fell to a three-year low. But Fitch downgraded Hungary's credit rating to BB+, with the outlook negative. In this context, LME zinc prices closed with gains at USD 1,857/mt, up 17/mt. The market will remain cautious ahead of new economic data. SHFE 1203 zinc contract prices should move between RMB 14,550-14,850/mt today, with spot discounts between negative RMB 100-200/mt.
