Dec 27, 2011 16:28China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,166.21 points on Tuesday.
BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,166.21 points on Tuesday, down 23.91 points, or 1.09 percent, from the previous close.
A Share Index: 2,269.37 points, down 24.94 points, or 1.09 percent;
B Share Index: 211.11 points, down 4.49 points, or 2.08 percent;
Total Turnover: 37.4 billion yuan (about 5.94 billion U.S. dollars).
