SHANGHAI, Dec. 15 (SMM) – The most active aluminum contract prices rebounded after opening lower on Thursday but with limited increases, which led to remarkable drop in spot prices in South China. Cargo holders were not willing to move goods at lower prices, while downstream buyers purchased on as-needed basis. In this circumstance, transactions turned better in the market, and main transactions were done RMB 15,860-15,880/mt, with slight premiums over spot prices in Shanghai.
