SMM Cu Survey: Brass Inventories at Copper Rod Producers Remain Low in November

SHANGHAI, Nov. 30 (SMM) –SMM's survey confirmed that brass inventories at the copper rod producers surveyed remained low through November. The producers surveyed indicated that they are unwilling to build inventories for fear of incurring losses in the face of copper price volatility and an unpredictable international economic situation. The tightness of cash flows at year's end also restricts inventory replenishing. Most copper rod producers thus maintained low inventories through November.
