SHFE aluminum prices rose to retake part of losses in previous trading day on Friday.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 11 (SMM) – SHFE aluminum prices rose to retake part of losses in previous trading day on Friday, but failed to move higher than RMB 16,200/mt. Downstream demand in South China was not boosted by slight rebound, while cargo holders were also reluctant to move goods at low prices, leaving a quiet trading market. Purchases were done as needed with traded prices mainly between RMB 16,270-16,290/mt. Prices were still likely to increase due to limited inventories of cargo holders at hand.
