DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Nov. 3 (SMM) –In the brass market, offers for US brass, Western were between USD 5,150-5,250/mt last week, and between RMB 40,000-40,500/mt on China’s domestic markets. Since uncertainties over environmental protection approvals remained, most importers scaled back purchasing, making it difficult for domestic buyers and overseas suppliers to reach consensus on price. As domestic supplies tightened, brass prices rose more rapidly in this round of copper futures price increases, raising the profit margin on brass imports to the RMB 1,000/mt level.
