Both domestic stocks and SHFE copper continued to increase on Wednesday, while SHFE aluminum market was not boosted by surrounding market.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 26 (SMM) Both domestic stocks and SHFE copper continued to increase on Wednesday, while SHFE aluminum market was not boosted by surrounding market, with weak movements in SHFE near-term aluminum contracts. In this context, selling interest among cargo holders in South China was quite low due to lower prices, with mainstream transactions done at RMB 16,440-16,460/mt and quotations mainly at RMB 16,460/mt. Despite no improvement in downstream buying interest, cargo holders kept offers firm. Thus, trading market was moderate on the whole.
