Shanghai Spot Copper Price Movement on Oct. 26

Shanghai spot copper offers were quoted between premiums of positive RMB 200-300/mt today.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 26 (SMM) –Shanghai spot copper offers were quoted between premiums of positive RMB 200-300/mt today. Traded prices for standard-quality copper were between RMB 57,100-57,350/mt, and RMB 57,200-57,550/mt for high-quality copper. SHFE copper prices moved higher after a low open, with a wider fluctuating range, but spot copper offers held firm. Copper supply contracted noticeably, and speculators were active in entering the market.
