SPDR Gold Trust Holdings Unchanged at 1,230 Metric Tons

Gold holdings in the SPDR Gold Trust, the biggest exchange-traded fund backed by bullion, were unchanged at 1,229.51 metric tons as of Oct. 7, according to the company's figures.

Oct. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Gold holdings in the SPDR Gold Trust, the biggest exchange-traded fund backed by bullion, were unchanged at 1,229.51 metric tons as of Oct. 7, according to figures on the company’s website.

Gold futures for December delivery fell $13.80, or 0.8 percent, to $1,639.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
